"Second Life and Lunch" meeting this Thursday, February 14, Noon - 1 p.m. in KCELT 153 Computer Classroom
This week Bret Ingerman, Vice President for Computing and Information Services at Vassar College will give a tour of their Second Life campus. We will have a speakerphone connection so the audience can ask questions. One highlight of the tour will be a visit to a three-dimensional build of the Sistine Chapel and a discussion of how it is used for teaching. This is a college that is already teaching classes in Second Life.

Meet us at the main teleport point at Vassar College. A teleport will be sent to the Kirkwood Community College Second Life Group in-world before the event.
Join us in KCELT:
Computers are limited--so please sign up on the KCELT Web site, but you don't have to sign up for Second Life to attend. Feel free to stop by and watch the presentation on the big screen. Bring your lunch, bring your sign-in information (including your password) and bring a friend. See you Thursday!
